I am a qualified teacher and work at My Oasis as an English Teacher and Humanities Lead, with responsibility for History and Geography. Having experienced challenges with school myself before being diagnosed with dyslexia, I understand how difficult learning can sometimes feel. I am passionate about helping young people overcome barriers, believe in themselves and achieve their full potential. I believe that with the right support, encouragement and someone who believes in them, every young person can succeed.

In my spare time (although, with four children, there isn’t much of it!), I enjoy reading, attempting to garden (I’m not very good at this!) and travelling around the UK with my family, discovering new places.
