Pupil premium is additional funding for publicly funded schools in England to raise the attainment of disadvantaged students of all abilities and to close the gaps between them and their peers.
Pupil premium funding is available to:
schools maintained by the local authority, including:
academies and free schools, including:
Pupil premium plus (PP+) for children in care is additional funding for schools to support and help raise their educational attainment and progress. As an independent school, receiving Pupil premium or Pupil Premium Plus is not as standard.
Please note that in the rare case of Pupil Premium or Pupil Premium Plus being allocated to our school, we use it to purchase services and resource to support the individual progress of a child including key staff training, further sensory equipment, as well as fund additional therapeutic interventions not provided in school.
As we have a very small number of students in receipt of any sort of additional PP or PP+ funding, as well as a small number of students on roll, for confidentiality reasons we are unable to publish our Pupil Premium strategy online. However, this is made available during inspection or on request by the referring party.
