Alongside working closely with a student’s mainstream school, at My Oasis we recognise how parents and carers have a key role to play in their child’s education, providing helpful information to ensure that the teaching approach is successful. Young people will always be involved in decisions, with their engagement being dependent on their age and maturity. This ensures we provide a package of educational provision most appropriate to each young person, facilitating engagement in their learning and the development of autonomy. Parents and carers will be frequently updated regarding their child’s progress at My Oasis through detailed reviews being sent out on a termly basis.
